when i made soktdeer, i made it use only a websocket because i didn't really understand how to make the websocket and api work together when i initially started revnet, i was on a version that didn't need the websocket and api to work together all that much. but when i updated it to 2018, i finally had to make them actually function as two parts of a whole (gamesession apis) and... it was so easy. like. insanely ridiculously unbelievably easy. genuinely no clue how i didn't understand it.

what works and doesnt work on roku os 9 on a roku 2 xs - netflix: opens old app design (pre scenegraph), failed to connect error - prime video: opens old app design (pre scenegraph), goes to error screen that says "This version of the Amazon Instant Video app is no longer supported." but still uses prime video branding elsewhere? - hulu: opens a failed to connect error. notably, this uses legacy sdk, whilst the hulu app on another device i have opens up webkit to display a failed to connect error. i believe that it might fall back to the first app version when the latest isn't compatible? - the roku channel: failed to connect error - tubi: opens up two errors about being unable to load. there's an option to close them, but they reappear - pluto tv: loads very slowly, but does manage to load! however, every channel brings you to a multilingual stream informing you that pluto tv is no longer available on this device. however, the guide shows correct information for everything. this used to work somewhat recently. - espn: unsupported device message. - pandora: the faithful pandora app continues to work on absolutely everything with valid certificates and a correct date and time. thank you pandora. please, dont change a thing. literally - starz: "network error", seemingly a bad request status code though 400 could mean anything - paramount+: this is actually the cbs all access app here, despite the home page showing paramount. opens to an error- "Uh-oh. An error has occurred, but we're working on fixing it. We'll be up and streaming shortly!" - cnn: opens as "cnn go". failed connection error - iheart radio: pretty slow, but seems to work? almost crashed the entire thing. - frndly tv: it seems to work? it offered me a free trial, i attempted to sign up and the roku automatically used my details on my account but tried to run my card and i dont have the money for the hold. maybe i can check back someday - spectrum tv: crashes. - youtube: slow but works - vudu/fandango: shows up as fandango on the home screen, but uses vudu branding in app. failed to connect error. - roku media player: why wouldn't it work?? - adult swim: login works, nothing else does. - crackle: obviously crackle doesnt work, but funny enough it still lets you install it. unsurprisingly, failed to connect error. - pbs: kinda works? i logged in and everything was there, but then it crashed. - crunchyroll: throws up a loading bar and crashes. - movies anywhere: it might work but i forgot our login. i mean it wouldnt be insanely surprising

I had a dream where Darflen got a mobile app, but the site (and app) was redesigned to look very ugly and basic, and face & ID verification was required to use Darflen. But only on mobile devices. This also wasn't done through any provider. There were just two upload file fields when you logged in that you couldn't close. Oh it also had a really ugly green & blue gradient everywhere.

Discord private profiles suck. I sat here trying to think of one good use case for them, and nothing! If you don't want people to see those things, just... don't put those things in??? What are you gaining from hiding this information???? Most of the stuff it hides hardly matters, but **bios** and **pronouns** being hidden entirely defeats the purpose of having those options in the first place?????

Nothing will ever surpass the joy of the $30 roku lot. 11 rokus for $30, thats ~$2.73 per roku!! And nothing is comparing to the value! Lot of 26 rokus for $155, thats almost $6 per roku!!! 13 rokus for $68, ~$5.23 per roku! 50 rokus for $500, thats a ridiculous $10 per roku!!!!! Lot of 15 for $53, ~$3.53 per rokuz which isnt BAD, but thats still not beating the value!! Nothing is beating the value of the 11 rokus for $30!!!!
